ABOUT
Kris Brown is a Filmmaker, 2D Animator, Character Designer, Storyboard Artist and Videographer from New Zealand. He is based in Germany and on occasion in New Zealand. Kris offers creative services for your project from the concept phase right through to execution and delivery.
Kris studied 2D traditional character animation (pencil and paper) at Freelance Animation School (Now Yoobee College of Creative Innovation) from 1999 - 2001, graduating with a National Diploma in Character Animation. In New Zealand, he animated on TV series productions ‘bro’Town’ (Firehouse Films, 2003) and ‘Staines down Drains’ (Flux Studios, 2006) amoung various advertising design and animation jobs. In 2012, Kris moved to Germany where he worked as a clean-up animator and later as a clean-up supervisor on ‘The Amazing World of Gumball‘ TV series for The Cartoon Network (Studio Soi, 2012 - 2017). In 2015, Kris began branching out into filmmaking and video production with a focus on writing and directing.
